The Guidebio du Tarn website serves as a showcase for organic producers and markets across the department. Supported by the Departmental Council and the Chamber of Agriculture of Tarn, it aims to promote short supply chains and make the organic offering more visible and accessible.
Our mission: to transform this directory into a true tool for discovery and connection between producers and consumers.
The new interface focuses on ease of use. From the homepage, users can filter producers by product type, municipality, or market day, or explore an interactive map. The UX approach is based on a clear principle: to make searching simple while encouraging the discovery of Tarn’s agricultural richness.
To support this redesign, we reworked the entire user journey: simplified site structure, legible typography, and a clear visual hierarchy.
The design, inspired by the region’s identity, uses a natural and bright colour palette that evokes Tarn’s landscapes and vitality.
On the technical side, the challenge was to connect the site to the APIDAE tourism information system, enabling automatic updates of producer and market profiles.
We developed a custom mapping and search widget to provide a smooth, responsive display of data from the APIDAE database.
The site is built on a custom WordPress framework, ensuring performance, stability, and management autonomy for departmental teams.
Beyond design and technology, we paid particular attention to the site’s visibility.
Optimised page structures, clear tagging, and enhanced performance were all designed to ensure efficient indexing on search engines.
Result: a faster, better-ranked website offering a seamless user experience across all devices.
